After her husband passed away and 5 children had moved on in their own lives , Ann felt she could help others in some way. Ann has nursed all her life and felt the hospital was an ideal way to give back. She volunteers on Fridays and assists patients waiting for their surgery. Her gentle manner helps to ease their worries or concerns. Ann provides caps and booties for their operations and comforts them with warm blankets.
Ann also drives many of her elderly friends and aquaintences to their many appointments or social dues enabling many to get out who otherwise would be housebound.
She works on the executive of the d
Daughters of Isabella as well as volunteering for their many charitable works.
Ann is also an active member of St. Gregory's Catholic Women's League. Again she actively involves herself wherever she can help, often making sandwiches etc. for funeral receptions at the church. Many times she is also helping in the kitchen with the clean up.
Ann never complains , is just happy to be able to help whenever and where ever she is needed. Ann is always thinking of others and how she may be able to assist them
