Jerry W.

Thunder Bay, ON
Nominated by Tessa Murray

Volunteered for:

Shelter House Thunder Bay

Length of Service:

15 hours per month for 20 years

January 28, 2014

Jerry has been involved with Shelter House for over 20 years. In those 20 years he has served as Board Chair, twice, as well as serving various other roles. Jerry played an integral part of the capital campaign to raise funds for our new building, seeing the fruition of his efforts in 2006. He is always a phone a call away when we need his help, have a question or need cheques signed. We will be saying farewell to Jerry this year as his tenure on the board has reached its maximum time limit. Jerry also shares his time with the Fort William Rotary Club, another large supporter of Shelter House. He is able to merge the two together for a very worth while experience.
