Francis Reid is a very active community member in our small town of only 6000 residence it is very hard to find volunteers.
Francis spends about 6 hours each day going around to our 3 local schools and helps with breakfast programs, lunch hours and after school with the bus students.
Besides our schools Francis is actively volunteering his time to every sporting tournament and special events that our community holds. He helps organize dances and fundraisers for our churches, food banks and mla offices.
Between Hockey, soccer, basketball, and the several schools, Francis's schedule looks as busy as an average paid worker, and in return he quotes (ill do whatever the community needs me to do because it make me feel good, and I enjoy helping others).
Francis does not have a drivers licence so hes know to walk to wherever he is needed in snow, rain or sleet.
our community and children of New Waterford are greatful to have an active volunteer that we can depend on always.
