Evelyn overcame a difficult childhood to become a well liked and productive member of her community. She could be defined as the volunteer that gives because she cares.. Evelyn loves music and still at almost 87 plays piano weekly for seniors at long term care facilities in West prince Always with a kind word and a smile she has made over 50 quilts and given each one to someone she felt needed a little extra comfort. She is the mother of two children and foster mom to twelve . Evelyn has a belief that each and every child should be cared about. Her winnings would go to Elllerslie Elementary School to assist with the programs that give our children a helping hand
