Barry Copeland has been volunteering his time to nonprofit organizations since his retirement from the Military. His heart is to help those less fortunity and continues to assist other organizations that are like minded.

Barry plans, organizes, and puts his own hands towards as many ventures as he can, with an energy that is infectious. He is also seen at venues in support of other organizations: such as habitat for humanity, and has an uncanny ability to lead and excite others to continue to do the same, primarily locally in their own community extending it to the international stage.

Seeing a need locally, he decided to form a not for profit organization - Developing World Partnerships to extend resourses into needed areas globally. He is currently the President of this organization (listed as one of the volunteer organization).

He has lead many humanitarian teams around the world, not only to allow others to experience the needs of others in these locations, but to carry that desire to serve back into their own communities. Barry is only one such person who is well deserving of such recognition.
